Description
True Grit Superfine is a wax-based abrasive paste made from natural and ethically sourced ingredients and hand blended in West Yorkshire. It was developed particularly for resin and hybrid work where a very fine final abrasive step is useful.
Using True Grit Superfine
The original product guidance recommends sanding to 240 grit, applying original True Grit Abrasive Wax Paste, then using True Grit Superfine as the final sanding step for a smoother, more reflective surface.
Resin and hybrid projects
The wax base captures the very fine dust produced during the finishing process rather than leaving it loose in the workshop. It is designed to reduce scratches left by initial sanding on resin and hybrid work.
Lacquer finishing
True Grit Superfine can also be used as a final process on high-gloss lacquer finishes to denib, buff and enhance the surface.
