Description
Chestnut Products Melamine Lacquer is a quick-drying gloss lacquer designed to provide a hard-wearing, heat- and water-resistant finish.
Drying and curing
Based on cellulose technology, the lacquer contains a catalyst that becomes active after application. It dries in approximately five minutes before continuing to chemically cure. Around 90% of the curing process takes place during the first seven days, with the remaining cure taking up to a further two weeks for maximum toughness.
Application
Designed for a full gloss finish and can be applied by brush, cloth or spraying. Cellulose Thinners can be used where dilution is required, particularly for larger areas.
