Description
Chestnut Products WoodWax 22 combines beeswax for shine with carnauba wax for hardness in a soft, creamy paste that is easy to apply.
Application
WoodWax 22 can be applied to unsealed wood but works best over a sanding sealer. When working on a lathe, apply the wax with the lathe stopped.
Apply with a suitable cloth. After roughly 20 seconds the wax begins to drag slightly, indicating that it is ready to buff. Buff promptly to remove surplus wax and bring up the shine.
Additional coats
A second or third coat can be applied if required, allowing about 20 minutes between coats. More than three coats can make the finish softer and more prone to marking.
